The OTC medication market forces consumers to make critical health decisions blindly, even though severe risks in common sleep aids, allergy medicines, and cold and flu products are validated in medical journals. Nomi closes this gap with an ML-powered scanner: scan any barcode in the pharmacy aisle and instantly get a personalized 0 to 100 safety score, a simple explanation of the specific risks, and a safer alternative in the same drug class. The pipeline synthesizes FDA FAERS, DrugBank, RxNorm, and DailyMed data into a single trained scoring model with full explainability.
